Zombie Emergency Defense (Z.E.D.) : An international, socially interactive organization created and unified under the goal of preparation against a mass zombie epidemic.
The Zombie Emergency Defense is dedicated in preparing its members for the imminent uprising of the walking dead. Through mass communication and public events we will inform, alert, educate, train, prepare and improve the nations preparedness in dealing with an undead threat. Nuclear and biological threats as well as religious conflicts are very real and dangerous as humanity struggles against itself today. Things are rapidly progressing towards a very chaotic destination in this world we live in.
Preparation is our first and most valuable option against the inevitable apocalypse. If we ready ourselves now there will be far less casualties in the future. After all, less casualties means less zombies. Make preservation of life your most important goal. Take up the calling, become Z.E.D. So that when the wave of the undead washes over the earth, they will be met by an unstoppable force. The Z.E.D.

OUTPOSTS: A Z.E.D. outpost is a local chapter offering local services that include but are not limited to, tactical training, escape routes in your area, familiarization of techniques, gear distribution and interactive social activities. An Outpost could be a store, household, public gathering area or whatever allows as a basic meeting place for Z.E.D. members. All card carrying Z.E.D. members may be eligible for a discount at an approved affiliate retail outpost. If there is not a local Outpost near you and you are interested in becoming an Outpost leader in your area please contact an operative or contact our customer service department at customerservice@zedcommand.com.
Tactical training: The Zombie Emergency Defense is in high support of tactical training for self defense of zombies. Qualified outposts or retail outposts will be appointed to hold hand to hand zombie self defense classes as well as advanced tactical training such as laser tag, airsoft or paintball. Other outposts will be encouraged to have capable means of training. Watching several zombie films for reference, playing multiplayer video games to improve hand/eye coordination and team cooperation. Though these may seem to be meager training methods, repetition of said training will help develop certain skills necessary to our cause.
Z.E.D. Meeting: The meetings we will be having will be used to inform and educate people on the hazards of dealing with zombies as well as methods of survival. These methods will range from evacuation routes, methods of dispatch, hand to hand survival, familiarization of tools and weapons and general strong group building exercises and health.
Z.E.D.’s “Get fit not Bit” campaign: This will be used to assist those with interest in getting healthy and in shape to better protect them from becoming a victim of a corpse. Several individuals out there can swing an axe or fire a weapon. But not all of them can sustain that for long periods of time, nor do they possess the cardiovascular fitness to outrun or a mass of the “running dead.” This will provide a source of motivation to improve your standards of health.
LIVE FIRE Training: In order to better improve an individual’s chances of survival we are continuing a live fire program involving training in the use of a firearm. Not everyone out there can just pick up a rifle or handgun and fire it correctly. This program will ensure that when the time comes to defend humanity no one drops a weapon and runs from lack of knowledge.
Zombie Dances: Just because we are extremely supportive of training in tactical defense against the dead kind does not mean we are against having a good time. Participating clubs and/or bars will be hosting a number of zombie themed events. Everyone gets to dress up as either operative or zombie to get together and have a good time as camaraderie will be an important part of Z.E.D.
As a Z.E.D. member you will be eligible to receive special discounts, training, merchandise, offers and information regarding involvement with the Zombie Emergency Defense. As a Z.E.D. Outpost commander you will be eligible for the same. As well as a career opportunity in Z.E.D.
